For over 80 years, Alamance County has shared the Spirit of Christmas with the under privileged of Alamance County through Christmas Cheer. This year, they expect to serve over 800 families and individuals, providing warm clothing and food for each family, as well as toys for the children.
The holidays are a time of giving, and most of us want to give, but it’s often hard to know which organization or cause is truly meeting needs. If you’ve ever shared through Christmas Cheer, you know that you are matched with a family that really needs your help.
You can help by donating money, clothes, food, toys – or your time. You can also choose a family or a child to sponsor. You’ll provide new toys, groceries and/or a gift certificate for food, and have the joy of knowing that you made Christmas a little bit warmer for your neighbors and your friends.
