Did you know that The United Way of Alamance County funds twenty-seven agencies here in our neighborhood? The agencies work in the areas of education, income, or health – places you know and trust, like Alamance Elder Care and Children’s Home Society and the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club. One in three people in Alamance County have been served by one of the funded agencies.
The mission of the United Way of Alamance County is to Mobilize the caring power of our community to advance the common good.
Each year, there is a drive for businesses to get their employees to pledge donations and to raise awareness on all the ways that individuals can give to support. Once again this year, our own Cindy Dudley is chairing the county wide drive for over 100 businesses! We’re proud of Cindy and what she’s doing to help!
If you’re interested in donating to the United Way of Alamance, you can do so here. If you would like to find out other ways to give or serve – from tutoring to donating blankets, visit the “Need” page. And if your business is interested in partnering with United Way, contact Cindy or drop by United Way at 220 East Front Street in downtown Burlington.
Join with Cindy and Keller Williams as we join others here in Alamance County to advance the common good!
